The BBE Sonic Maximizer

By Andy May

For a while I was always searching for a way to make my guitar setup sound full and complete, but I think the search may be over. One of my most recent purchases was the BBE 362 Sonic Maximizer. Basically what the Sonic Maximizer can be described as is a signal processor that simulates a CD quality sound out of a live performance. It does this by first adjusting the phase relationships of the low, mid, and high frequencies, and then secondly by the increasing the higher and lower frequencies that are typically inaudible. Overall, this is one of the best purchases Iíve made for my guitar setup and I recommend it to anyone looking for that fuller, richer sound! Best of all, the BBE Sonic Maximizer is fairly cheap. It is pretty easy to find on the internet for around $100 or so!
